    Processing Yarn  The essential element to producing a fine hand-knotted carpet is the long staple Jang Bell Wool. The wool is washed in natural mountain water to retain its lanolin. After which it is hand-carded to straighten its fibers.

    Dying   Once a color has been successfully dyed – The Dye-master catalogs and lists the steps used to create this tone to dye bulk yarn which will be used for the carpet. We use the highest quality Swiss Metallic dyes. While much is written about natural and vegetable dyes, only about 1% of carpets actually use them. The Swiss Metallic dyes are AZO free and color fast.

    Washing   After the carpet is finished and removed from the loom, it is washed in a cold soap and water mix. We do not apply heavy chemical washes, and all water used is filtered

    Drying   The carpets are left to dry out naturally in the sun, a subtle sheen can be achieved through this process.
