Mike's Poem

Just a note on how we’re doing,

while new orders we’re always wooing.

Boasting that we’re never late

no matter how you have to wait.

For while some times you become dismayed,

we’re not late, just delayed.

And should the color or even style

not be right, it’s best to smile,

and sigh, a little and shake your head.

Offering our version and say instead

“it’s wonderful, it’s perfect can’t you see

how the error has consistency”.

Perhaps the size, it’s not what ordered,

that’s because we forgot the border.

And weaving crossed is such a pain,

so uncrossed now, it looks the same.

Monsoon weather creates no shine

the rug that does can’t be mine.

So we tried a new technique,

a secret we intend to keep.

While bales arrived are never blocked,

be thankful that’s all you got.

As for the cost it’s the very best,

granted else-where it will cost much less.

Terms are strict pay in advance

Woe is you to take the chance.

But consider this despite the mess

We’re quite unique you must confess

“So abide with us” excuse the pun

in two years the rug might be done.

Send your work, we do our best,

from Noreen Seabrook, nothing less.

A Piece for Slick

A special one of a kind piece for model Slick Woods.

We wove a 150 Knot twill of wool and silk in a 3 x 3 based off a picture of her. We took off the "Fendi" detail on the sweater and replaced it with "Slick".

From the tattoos to the gap teeth, we tried to cover every detail as best as possible. Very pleased with accomplished such a detailed piece.... Normal 3 x 3's can take as little as 3 weeks to produce... this project from start to finish took 4 months.  A great example of what we can do, and a piece Slick will have for a lifetime.

Noreen Seabrook Education Funding in Nepal

For the past year we have been contributing to the health and education of the young girl seen in the photos above. We hope to expand this funding and reach out to more families in Nepal.

Striking Stripes

We're adding here a short photo series of recently woven samples matched to poms our client has chosen. Photos were taken by Nikky, owner of one of the weaving facilities we work with in Nepal. The crisp, natural sunlight allows us to see the impeccable match between pom and yarns used for these samples and remind us of the beautiful autumn days we've experienced as we transition into the holidays.
